导体断面积 100mm2 以下之试料在本机内冷却 1 小时后，立即以均匀之速度将试样绕卷于规定直径之圆杆上，断面积 100mm2 以上之试料则先行绕卷，再冷却相同之时间后，立即以反方向绕卷于圆杆上。试验后取出试样，检视试样表面是否产生龟裂、裂痕。 
If the cross-sectional area of conductor is less than 100mm2，then specimen must be put into testing chamber for freezing for one hour，after that immediately rolls specimen around the specified rod in a uniform speed 。Otherwise，for the cross-sectional area over 100mm2，roll the specimen before hand and put into chamber for freezing one hour。Afterwards，immediately roll specimen around the rod in reverse direction。Finally，take out of specimen for checking whether its surface has crack or fissure or not。
